A Sign of Things to Come

Construction fencing was installed today.  It might not be the prettiest to look at, but fencing of this sort is required for projects like ours in order to keep equipment secure and people safe.  For some years, the property was frequented by dirt bike riders – and we know that many bikers will feel the loss of a place to ride close by, while many neighbors will rejoice to no longer hear high-pitched engines revving as the motor bikes hit the hills.  (Fun fact - Ryan and Alisha B first met because of a motorcycle accident Ryan had on our property years before we came to own it.)

Fencing is step number one.  Next comes pre-watering the soil to minimize dust while grading.  Look for that to start next week.
